Yesterday, my friend Abby worked very hard on 2 yummy pies for my birthday. She made a scrumptious apple pie and a double pecan chocolate pie. They were both wonderful and she sent me the recipe for the pecan pie. I am going to make it for Christmas! It was filled with tons of pecans and big dark Ghiradelli chocolate pieces.
